This photographer has not only used images that aren’t their original images to promote sessions (mainly weddings) but also has been backing out last minute/no showing due to various reasons, mostly car accidents.
This is another photographer that has been driving in a lot of work with “pay what you can” sessions and really low pricing for weddings at expos.
It started with one client who posted their experience on Facebook how they hired Caitlin Payne, aka CP Family Photography for a wedding on 2/18. Two hours before she was supposed to arrive she called the client crying stating her daughter had been in a car accident and she would be sending in a replacement photographer. The photographer that arrive stated he didn’t have experience with weddings and was also poorly dressed. This photographer ended up having work that was vastly subpar compared to the work they booked Caitlyn on.
After the clients received the images they were unhappy with they did some digging into Caitlyn and found that based on her social media, she attended a play at a local High School that date. It appears she never planned on going to this wedding at all.
To say the comments are hoppin’ in the Facebook thread is an understatement. I was sent CP Family Photography after someone noticed some of the comments were about her using images that aren’t hers so I began to dig. I also recommend hitting the thread to read her friend show up and wish death on the OP. Classy.

I think that shows that her ads are predominantly not her images she’s using. I’m sure there’s more but we have more to get into with this story so I’m stopping here.
Now back to the comments – they start rolling in and it seems a LOT of people have had not great experiences with CP Family Photography.
And there’s a lot of car wrecks.
Now… onto the reviews I can find on Google. This is just SOME of the bad ones.
