This one is probably going to ruffle some feathers as people are going to have opposing views on whether this is full-on theft or just a bit shady.  Since more than 80% of the image (often near 100% of the image) is not CJ Photography’s original work AND since he’s presenting the image as entirely his own (without permission, I’ve checked in with the original photographers and outside of the stock agencies he’s not been granted permission to use the original works in this manner) I’m going ahead with this.

CJ has got some attention recently from running a camera giveaway that involved a like-a-thon on Facebook and his images caught a few people’s interest because they didn’t look natural although CJ claims them to be.  Note that most of the images you are to share to win the camera aren’t his but that fact is buried but is there, kinda, so I’m not listing them.  Combined with the fact that he’s less than a year into the business things started popping in people’s heads and at least two people have investigated and brought some info to me.

CJ aka Christopher Jones posts quite a lot of amazing images yet dodges every singe question about where his location was and how he found such amazing light.  Instead he talks about his one-on-one classes he offers to learn how he works.  This is what finally sent me to post here as I hear he runs a newbie photographer group and sells his workshops to them.  Folks, you aren’t going to learn how to shoot like this because the shot is a composite that is heavily photoshopped.  This isn’t out of camera work.

Yes some work here IS stock but some images he used are NOT stock and he did NOT get rights to use the images.  Nor does it sound like he licensed them correctly but I am awaiting on replies in regards to that.  I have been in contact with all of the photographers and most have got back to me already stating that Christopher Jones did NOT have permission to use their images in this manner.

Update 4/2016: Scroll to the bottom for the 4/2016 addition of the Ava Ryan Photography chapter to this book.  TL;DR: Chris and his wife Erin are now running a company called Ava Ryan Photography.  They started offering editing classes to photographers and opened up a mentoring group.  People connected the dots as to who Chris is and have posted about it online.  Somehow this was my fault.  Now Erin is claiming that Chris has nothing to do with Ava Ryan and it is her business alone despite him using the Ava Ryan account to post as himself, he being included in the “About Us” page and multiple of Chris’s images being on the Ava Ryan galleries.

Let’s start with this sunrise image that CJ claims to have been worth waking up early to capture. (this has since been deleted)  The comment with the photo is “I would say the sunrise at 7:30 with the storm moving in was pretty awesome… This was actually a test shot.”

Someone woke up early but it wasn’t CJ.  Original source.  This is stock so there’s a grey area here but stick with me OK?  I am starting with this one since he plainly states he woke up early for this image.

Since Christopher has claimed the mini session’s template was sold with the stock images, here is the listing from the Etsy seller whom he purchased the file from. Note the lack of these images.

Since posting this Christopher is claiming that *only* these 9 images were composites.  I must wonder then why this cover image is gone that was originally part of his Facebook?  The original landscape has been too heavily edited for me to easily find a source for but I am still on the lookout.

We’re going for at least 10 now.

UPDATE:

FB Page Status on 12/20/13 around 5:00PM EST.  Note this contradicts with Chris’s claims that he wasn’t online until 11-12PM on the 20th.  I am sure he’ll claim this was an “admin” acting on his behalf but I thought I’d add this just in case.

10% of unoriginal work is 10% too much.

Update #2

About 1AM on 12/21/13

image

With that post his main Facebook page disappeared shortly after.

I got a letter from Christopher himself at the same time.   Never mind the fact that he claimed to have got up at sunrise for images… it’s now a matter of proper licensing.  Not sure where the non-stock images come into play.  Or the fact that there’s more than the claimed 9 composites he said he ONLY had.  Or the mini session template being sold with the stock images.  Or where in the heck loving Jesus and his kid come into this?   I really do love the comparison to running photography businesses like being in the music business.  The Rockstars are preening now.  Good thing WPPI is around the corner.

Update #3:

Chris is back again after disabling his FB account the other night.

About 2AM, 12/22/13

If you’ve been following his defense has gone something like this:

• I didn’t do what they are claiming.  90% of what is here is mine.

• Only the 9 images posted were the ones I composited.  [When I found more after he posted this claim, this is when he disabled his account]

• I’ve always been transparent about the images being composites.

• The only thing I did wrong was not get the correct licensing.

• Everyone else uses stock images to promote mini sessions.

• I removed the images because I wanted to protect the artists whose work I used.

• I love Jesus and my kid and you are hating on a good person and destroying everything I’ve worked for this year.

• I didn’t steal, I made a mistake with licensing.

• I’m still giving away a camera.

When I first posted this “photojournalist photographer” (Chris, do yourself a favor and go read the definition of photojournalism) I was a bit scared because he had SO many likes.   Sure I’ve taken on heavy weights in the industry before but I knew quite a lot about them before I posted about Doug or Jasmine.  I had never heard of Chris specifically, only about the weirdness surrounding his camera giveaways and uncanny timing of the theft of his gear.  It’s been interesting to see that not very many are defending him.  I didn’t screen capture all the comments but all of these images were always presented as original works completely captured by Chris (or an employee) himself.  There were dozens of people always asking for locations and he’d often reply but skirt the issue but allowing people to think he’d found this magical field with dramatic sunset just off the side of the road somewhere in Georgia.  He never once told anyone that this was digital art and NOT photojournalism.  Then there’s the whole workshop debacle.  Let’s just say he leaned heavily a la Rob Adams on someone else’s training guides.  I’m still waiting for more to present that all to you.

Final point is the first image that I posted.  Read the original description.  That is decidedly NOT transparent about these images being composites.

Update #4:

He’s taken the page down again after I updated this post.  His website is also down to the bare bones.

Update #5:

Last night I received this message from Chris.  I wasn’t going to post it because I honestly don’t care that much and I have lots of baking to finish up but since he keeps talking about his reaching out to me and not getting a response I figured that I may as well post the messages I chose to not reply to.

Note that he’s confessing that the things I posted about ARE true.  He didn’t get the correct licensing for the images he sourced for compositing.  I am not responsible for what people say or do in the comment section.  My favorite bit is about the money I’ve cost him.  That’s what this all boils down to in my humble opinion.

This morning I received this voicemail:

After I didn’t reply to him yet again (why would I when he’s telling everyone I am being sued?) he posted this:

image

Again, he confesses that he didn’t properly license the images nor gave credit for the stock images on the mini session advertisement.

I have not deleted anything that Chris has posted.  People have been watching this page with popcorn in hand I’m sure and haven’t seen a thing.  If anything’s been deleted it’s by his own hand.

My lawyer has been made aware of everything but we’ve yet to hear from CJ’s lawyer.

Chris has also sent some threats of lawsuit out to people whom have commented on this page and on Facebook.  Please contact me if this includes you.

Update #6:

Chris has been interviewed by Gary Fong and the story has been picked up by Peta Pixel.  Chris is blogging his side of the story on his blog.

There’s also been a lot of kicking of rocks.

Update #7 on 1/8/14

He’s rebranded himself as Ryan Christoph Images and has a new FB and Website (linked above).  When he found out I had linked the new info… he got a little angry.

image

The post is gone now (of course) but it made me laugh to see what his version of what happened is.  What was even more interesting was seeing his fans comment over and over how he needs to stop posting about this because it’s annoying and childish.  Those were quickly deleted of course.

Update #8 on 2/17/14

If you have visited this page at all in the past month or two you’ve probably seen a lot of crazy going on in the comments.  I kicked around closing it down because a lot of it had nothing to do with Chris Jones’ use of others intellectual works.   I decided to leave it open because there was one loose thread left in the whole Chris Jones/Ryan Christoph disaster and that had to do with the contest he had for another giveaway on December 31st.

On December 31st Chris was doing another massive giveaway similar to the one he had done before on his page.  He was giving away actions, a backdrop, a computer and a camera (Canon 5D Mark III, 50 11.4 lens and batteries – the gear he claimed was stolen and returned) among other things.  Once the post hit here on Photo Stealers I think some sponsors backed out and in the end Chris drew two winners – one for the backdrop and one for the camera.  The girl who won the backdrop has received her winnings but the girl who won the camera is still waiting.  Yes.  STILL WAITING 6 weeks later.

Here’s some of the posts from CJ Photograph’s Facebook page regarding the giveaway (click the image to bring it up bigger):

Since December 31st, Tara has had excuse after excuse for reasons why she hasn’t received her camera.   First he had the camera and lens cleaned before sending it to her.   He sent Tara a picture of the camera and lens when he got them back.

Chris wanted to drive the camera to her to give it away in person because of all of the scrutiny.  He told her, and everyone in the comments here, that he wanted pictures of him handing it over to her. Then Tara’s daughter was going to be in town near Chris so they were going to meet up at the convention but he didn’t show.  Since then he’s been supposed to mail it or deliver it but neither has happened.  Sadly, I was afraid this is how it would go.  I really was hoping that the reason behind all of Ryan Christoph’s workshops lately was to make enough money to buy a new camera so he could send Tara his.  I guess not.

Last week Chris claimed that he sent the camera via UPS and it would be delivered on Friday (another comment about this).  The story then changed to Chris sending the lens and batteries via UPS but he was driving the camera up himself to deliver in person as a surprise.  The lens and batteries still have not arrived (UPS delivers on President’s Day) and Chris claims he couldn’t deliver the camera due to bad weather when he was coming through Ohio.  Why he was going through Ohio en route to Illinois from Georgia I have no idea (oh and the weather wasn’t bad this weekend).  Anyway, the bottom line is Tara still does not have a camera.  He’s now telling her that he’s just going to give the camera to a woman in town whose child has cancer because Tara just doesn’t appreciate the gift.  He made a post this evening to his blog claiming he’s sending the camera out, again, tomorrow.

This doesn’t have much to do with the use of others intellectual works but I felt that this saga needed to be included for those that come across Chris/Ryan and wind up here in the future.

Update #9 02/18/2014

Due to popular demand, here is a summary/timeline of what’s all transpired with Chris Jones.  Much of this is in the comments but I understand that some new people are coming to this and are a bit lost and I thought it best to have a concise overview of this whole saga.

• 10/2012: Chris Jones decides to be a photographer per his blog post.   He goes to Best Buy and buys a Canon Rebel T3i.

• 10/27/2012:  Chris Jones photographs his first wedding.   He claims that he shot the wedding on all JPG and full auto on his blog and implies that he used the new camera for the gig.  The EXIF shows that the image was taken with a Canon EOS 7D and the image was shot on manual settings.  The screen shot Chris posted to prove the image was his shows the image file was .CR2 which is a RAW format for Canon’s images.

• 01/2013: Chris Jones posts on his blog that at this time he enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta.   Chris claims in comments that The Art Institute of Atlanta provided the non-stock landscape images to the class for use.

• 04/2013:  Tells Lori Beth Green that he is dying from liver cancer and is going through dialysis.

• 07/2013: Chris Jones posts on his blog that at this time he sold his equipment and walked away from the music industry.

• 08/2013: Sometime near the end of August, Chris decided to do a giveaway of his old camera(s) on Facebook.   He posted on his blog and also told Gary Fong that at this time he was getting out of the industry.  To enter the giveaway you had to like and share his post on his Facebook page.  The giveaway date was September 30th.

• 09/19/2013: Chris announced that “someone” was donating 10 new Canon 70D cameras to be included in the giveaway.

• 09/21/2013: Chris posts that he’s reached 30K likes and will be giving away something new for each 10K likes he gets and that he’s expanded his brand.

• 09/30/2013:  Chris announces two winners of the original giveaway.

• 10/01/2013:  Chris reposts the two winners of the camera giveaway, states this giveaway wasn’t a popularity contest for him and that the person giving the 10 cameras away wants to be anonymous and he will announce who won them once they are given out.

• 10/06/2013: Chris announces the 10 names of the people that won the camera but none of them have Facebook accounts and the names also appear on various internet sites with lists of names.  Per his interview with Gary Fong someone else was in charge of selecting the names and sending the cameras, he just hosted the giveaway for these 10 cameras.

• Mid-October:  Chris reports to Facebook his new camera gear has been stolen.  A report Chris showed online states that while at Wal Mart camera bag including a Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 1DX, 70-200 IS II, 24-70mm, 14mm, 50 1.2, 85mm 1.2 and an iPhone charger were stolen from his car.  He has claimed few different versions of how the gear was able to be stolen: they broke a window and popped the trunk [where we presume his gear was] to a concerned person via Facebook, in a comment here he claims that a security guard noticed him digging in a camera box [note that he claims in the report it was a bag, not a box] before going in the store and that his window to his car wasn’t rolled all of the way up and noticed the camera box was gone .  He eventually produces a report as proof of the stolen gear.

• Mid-to-Late October: After the news about the theft made its way around Facebook a donation page was set up for people to donate to Chris to get him a new camera.  This page was also linked on his website with a note that anyone who donates over $100 will receive a session from Chris at some point.  At least one commenter has claimed Chris made at least $100K in donations from his fans, the screen captures are what Chris sent to a few people who doubted his claims.   Chris claims he only got $1370 in donations in a comment to this post.

• 10/24/2013:  Chris takes down his request for donations on Facebook (not on the website).  Tells a fan that he took the page down because he was able to order his gear.  Per a comment on this post he was able to get a Canon 5D Mark III and a Canon 50 1.4 lens for $2850.

• 11/18/2013: Chris posts to his Facebook page that he has been told who stole his camera gear and that the thief was using it to earn money to feed his family for the holidays.  Chris sent him a letter and a bible and received the gear back without the bible and a letter signed Jon [note that per the comment with the story about the theft, Chris claims the security guard was named Jon].  He decides to do a new camera giveaway with the camera and lens he bought with help from donations.

The letter Chris received back from the thief:

Comparison of Chris’s writing from the police report to the writing of the person who stole his gear, Jon.

• 11/29/2013:  Chris posts a rant on his Facebook Page and mentions how much he gives.

•  12/2013:  Various posts regarding the giveaway on December 31st.

• 12/6/2013:  Chris decides to expand CJ Photography and posts a couple ads promoting this new opportunity.

• 12/16/2013:  CJP Team on behalf of CJ Photography posts offering mentoring and workshops.

• 12/20/2013 ~12:00PM:  I am messaged by someone that kept seeing people sharing Chris Jones’ camera giveaway ads being shared on Facebook and some of his images appeared to be too good to be true so I looked into it.  I found out that he was using landscape images from various sources on the internet and made a post about it on Photo Stealers.

• 12/20/2013 ~5PM:  Chris posts on his Facebook claiming that he had proper licensing for the images he used for compositing, says they are all stock images.   90% of the images are original.

• 12/21/2013 ~1AM:  Chris posts on his Facebook that he made a mistake and will be contacting the original artists about using their work.   He deleted his Facebook Page shortly afterwards.

• 12/21/2013 ~1AM:  Chris sends Photo Stealers a message calling this all a silly mistake.

• 12/22/2013 ~2AM:  Chris brings his Facebook Page back online and posts a message stating he made a mistake but is NOT a thief and is continuing with the giveaway slated for December 31st.

•  12/22/2013 morning:  Chris deletes his Facebook Page again, takes his website down to the bare bones.

• 12/22/2013, ~10PM:  Chris messages the owner of Photo Stealers claiming to have a big time entertainment lawyer, claiming defamation, claiming he’s going to shut down his page for good once the giveaway is complete and he’s done for good with CJ Photography, it’s not a threat BUT  if I publish the message he sent me the lawsuit is on and his lawyer told him he could say that.

• 12/23/2013, morning:  Chris leaves me a voicemail reiterating the above message.   Chris also tells Gary Fong that this day he received a package of human feces in the mail, shipped on Friday afternoon.  In the comments on Photo Stealers he claims the postmark showed the US Virgin Islands.

• 12/23/2013, afternoon:  Chris posts to his Facebook pageclaiming to have found disturbing things about me, that he reached out to me and was “nice and supportive” and I blocked him.

• 12/24/2013, afternoon:  Chris and his lawsuit threats are the focus of a post on Peta Pixel.

• 12/24/2013 ~8PM:  Gary Fong interviews Chris Jones.   It’s a very bizarre interview that is really all over the place.   Some of the highlights include that Chris spent $20K on marketing with Facebook, he’s going to go offline after the giveaway to focus on getting some help for his own issues and he has a lot of receipts.

• 12/24/2013 ~11PM:  Chris posts to his blog and Facebook vague threats of suicide, makes firmer threats to close friends that he’s on a park bench and going to kill himself and turns off his cell phone.  Eventually he comes home, turns on his phone and acts like nothing happened.  Many were concerned and worried for Chris.

• 12/25/2013 ~2AM:  CJ Photograph Team posts a message to CJ Photography Facebook page stating Chris is stepping away from the business and they are going to run the giveaway for him.  Lori comments to this post asking about Chris and his cancer.

• 12/25/2013, afternoon – Chris posts to his blog talking about waking up on a park bench (reference above) and being mad.

• 12/26/2013:  Chris posts to his blog stating he’s refunding the donations and mentions he’s not able to get on his CJ Photography Facebook page.

• 12/27/2013:  Chris is back on his Facebook Page and posts that the giveaway is still on.  He lists a backdrop and stand, a 15 inch Macbook Pro with a wacom tablet, Intuous 5 Pro small and action sets among the things he is giving away in addition to the camera.

• 12/31/2013:  Chris ends his giveaway and awards a girl with a backdrop and another girl with the camera/lens and shuts his page down shortly afterwards.

• 01/08/2014:  Chris’s new venture, Ryan Christoph Images, is found out and added to the post here.  Chris is displeased and reactivates his Facebook Page and makes a post outing the owner of Photo Stealers and some commenters here.

• 01/16/2014: Chris posts a comment with a screen capture showing that one girl did receive her backdrop and stand.

• 01/20/2014: Chris posts a comment claiming he has sold the rights to CJ Photography to a media group and is in the process of a transfer.

• 02/05/2014:  Tara posts in the comments about the thus far misses in delivery.  There was a snow storm, then her daughter missed meeting up with Chris while in the area but Chris is supposed to drive up in the following week with the gear.    Chris claims in reply he waited 3 hours for Tara’s daughter.

• 02/05/2014:  Chris tells a cautionary tale in the comment section of this blog post.   He also posts that it was just a story and Tara is the one who stood him up the weekend prior because she wouldn’t meet him halfway for the camera.

• 02/10/2014:  Chris posts a comment that Tara’s camera has been sent via UPS and should be there Friday, also mentions it here.  No tracking number is given.  Later Chris clarifies himself to Tara stating that he sent the lens and batteries (screen capture of him mentioning this to a commenter in this post) and is bringing the camera himself but doesn’t want the internet to know.

• 02/14/2014: UPS is supposed to deliver the lens and batteries to Tara, does not arrive.  Chris blames the snow storm.   Chris claims he is en route with the camera but is delayed due to snow storm in Ohio (note, Ohio did not have bad weather on this day).  Also, Ohio should have not been on the route from Chris’s location to Tara’s location.  I live in Ohio.  Coincidence?
• 02/15/2014:  Chris is supposed to arrive at Tara’s house in Illinois with the camera, claims he has to turn around due to bad weather in Ohio.   He tells Tara he will ship it instead when he gets home.

• 02/17/2014: Chris posts a blog about the camera giveaway stating he is shipping the camera in the morning despite the fact that Tara “has been behind my back tearing me apart making me look like the biggest looser on the planet sharing screen shots to the sharks of our conversations etc.  I could think of something better to do with this camera however I am just trying to bless someone.”  He tells Tara in conversation that there is a woman in town whose child has cancer and he could give the camera to and how he “doesn’t appreciate it.”  He has also told a few people he’s losing his child over things posted on Photo Stealers.  He posts a lot of comments after the post is updated with the fact that Tara has not received her camera.

• 02/20/2014:  Tara received the Canon 5D Mark III via Fed Ex along with a battery.

•  02/24/2014:  Tara is told my Chris that he sent the 50 1.4f lens and battery charger via UPS, no tracking number.

• 03/08/2014:  Lens and battery charger still have not arrived.

Update 4/6/2016:  Last summer I received a few messages that Chris was back at it again and was now operating as “Ava Ryan Photography” and had accrued a pretty hefty following.  At the time I didn’t dig in because Chris and I had maintained a friendly banter and I trusted that he was on the straight and narrow.  So long as he wasn’t using images that weren’t his to composite with, I was fine.

Around the end of March, Ava Ryan Photography created a new Facebook Group called Ava Ryan Community Group and Mentoring.  The description is as follows, “Ava Ryan Photo hosted Facebook group that started as a place for mentoring class members. Now, I want to create a sense of community, a network of friends from around the world that help each other learn, help each other grow, and most of all, help each other dream. I am glad to be on this journey, and I would rather be on a journey with you.”   From what I am told, people were mass added to the group and it is now has around 4K members.   The editing class was $40 and was on March 31st and have another for April

Last night I was added to the Mentoring group and someone else messaged me asking if I knew that Chris Jones was Ava Ryan.  I did know but I didn’t realize what kind of a push he/they were making to be educators in the industry.  Word spread like wildfire that Ava Ryan = Chris Jones.  In the meantime, I tried to find any kind of hint that Chris was being transparent regarding his past transgressions.  There was one post where Ava alluded to her husband being in photography [deleted before I could cap] and another where he posted on her behalf but I couldn’t find anything about WHO he was in the past.

Today Ava Ryan aka Erin Jones has posted the below in reaction to the connection being made that Chris Jones is a part of Ava Ryan.  The full post couldn’t be capped in one screen so the entire post is below.

“Ok guys. This has been an interesting couple of days, they have been quite crazy and very upsetting for me. I have received numerous messages that are beyond unprofessional and completely uncalled for. Unfortunately for me, I am not used to the way the Internet treats people. I created this Facebook page in order to connect with other amazing photographers. My other personal page is under Erin Jones. (Filled with college and family friends…feel free to friend me) I then created a group in the beginning as a way to communicate with people that signed up for my editing class. I then expanded the group because I wanted a community of photographers to be able to learn and grow from each other, as well as me! It has been brought to my attention that there is another group that is accusing me of being the man I married. Chris and I have known each other for 11 years and have been friends on and off during that time. Life led us back together after all of those years, and we were married shortly after. I had been a photographer shooting family and friends, and when Chris and I got married I did not know that he had really even been involved in photography at all. Shortly after we were married he started tagging along on shoots with me and started giving me advise. I was a little unreceptive to someone that wasn’t involved in photography so I pretty much ignored him. After a couple of arguments, he showed me his page and some of the work that he used to do. I have been a hobbyist photographer for 4 years, so I have seen a little in this community of photographers, but by no means fully engulfed in this space. It was after we were married that I learned that I had married the man that was CJ photography, and then later Ryan Christoph. As conflicted as I was about this, due to my passion for photography, I decided I should never be defined by someone else’s mistakes and decisions. Chris is very talented and he has definitely been instrumental in my growth and knowledge. My business has grown leaps and bounds over the past year and I am proud of that. This however is MY business and he has no involvement, unless asked, and legally he has no say in anything I do or how I operate my company. On a more personal level, shortly after we got married I started to realize that something wasn’t quite right. Long story short we found out that Chris has severe ADHD and suffers from BiPolar that went untreated for 30 years. His past year has been full of struggles and disheartening times. If anyone knows anything about bipolar disorder it is a very debilitating disease that takes a lot of patients and self awareness. Watching my husband grow and achieve what seemed impossible has been truly amazing. He will not be defined by this and we have been taking the necessary steps to make him better! If anyone has any issues with this, please feel free to message me or unfriend me. I am as honest as they come, and I will be candid with ANYONE that has questions. I will continue to run this page as an environment to bring together and encourage others. This is NOT a competition to me, yet an amazing group of photographers that I can follow and remain in awe of! Thank you for your support!‪#‎Rantover‬

An additional comment claiming that Chris is not a part of the company.

I replied after being accused of being the center of the negativity and nasty accusations.

Here’s the thing: from what I can find online, Chris is VERY much a part of Ava Ryan Photography.  The About Us page on Ava Ryan presents them as a team.

As well as on their Facebook page:

Many of the images on Ava Ryan’s FB and website are CJ’s old works.  He’s mentioned as being the photographer.  Here’s just a couple of his more well known images.

Chris is also seen in images photographing on behalf on Ava Ryan Photography.

Other comments and things on Ava Ryan making the business appear a team.

Comments and posts on the FB Group mentioning Chris/from Chris as part of Ava Ryan Photography:

The bottom line is that Ava Ryan Photography is maintaining that Chris Jones is acting as a consultant and husband ONLY and is not a part of Ava Ryan Photography.  The info above is to show that to the general public, he appears to very much be involved in the business which is now marketing to photographers.

In the end I got a threat from someone who blocked me immediately after sending the image so I had no way to trace it.

Update 2/6/2020 @ 7AM EST

I’ve heard a few things off and on in the past 4 years about Chris but nothing worth updating this post about.  After all the drama/threats from the last update I changed the privacy on the post but I always had a sinking feeling he’d resurface.  When I changed the privacy of the post I told Chris that I’d reopen it if/when he fucked up again so here we are, he’s fucked up again.

Last night CBS46 in Atlanta did a story on Chris Jones who has changed his business name yet again to White Anchor Films (he’s taken down almost all of his social media for this company, can’t imagine why).  Allegedly he is not delivering wedding videos and photos after the weddings he’s been hired to work.  Here’s an older story also on CBS46 about another couple not getting their video.

I’ve also heard that he also has ghosted at least one couple for a wedding last April.  I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s more.  From the reviews on The Knot, it sounds like he’s made a mess of things to say the least and those are only the people brave enough to risk never getting their products to leave a review warning others.

I know this will come as a surprise but he’s even gone as far as threatening the reporter stating “I will go to the ends of the Earth to destroy every facet of your life.”

Gee, doesn’t sound like *our* Chris Jones at all, does it?

One final bit – he’s apparently a pastor now.  Yeah, your face is what mine was when finding that out.  They’ve told the news station he’s been told to make things right.
