This is an odd one so buckle up.
Also I’m not 100% sure of her location in California as she posts in LA, OC, Newport Beach and San Diego areas. It appears that she may have been in the DMV area at one point too.
Katie/Katerina was caught when she replied to a second shooter ISO linking to another photographer’s gallery, whom she shares a similar name to.
The person who was a second photographer noticed and called it out and the main photographer confirmed she was not a part of this wedding.
After being called out Katerina changed her Facebook name to Emans Katie and tried to rejoin the group and was denied. Then people started digging in and quickly found that the majority of the images on her website were stolen. As I am writing this she’s changed her name again to Katie Emans.
I got pulled in later into the mess so some of the images/galleries were taken down before I could screen capture everything.
Thankfully, Laura Barns made a video of her images appearing on Katerina Visuals’ website and gallery. These are posted with Laura’s permission.
All but 4 photos on Katerina Visuals homepage belonged to Laura Barns, along with the entire website portfolio, and three galleries.
A C&D was sent and Katerina did remove the images. However her “didn’t mean to infringe” made me laugh. What, did the photos post themselves?
This morning as I was able to start to dig in, this was what remained online for Katerina Visuals. The website was gone along with the stolen wedding images but some of these galleries still seemed off in consistency and file names. By the time I was able to screen capture the galleries she had deleted them but I still had the main page and the graduation link up. Luckily sourcing had begun and most of the original photographers were found.
Out of all of these galleries, the only ones remaining now is “H” and The Stoddards which presumably she was the photographer for.
It’s unclear who was the original photographer for Everett Narrative.

The Graduation Portfolio is mostly sourced from Weddings by Andre.
The Headshot Gallery had varied sources, one of whom was KayShawn.
I also searched Facebook to see if she’d made any other posts.
I struggled to find any photographer sources for the above images but one.
Want to know why it was so easy to find the original photographer?
Yeah, she left the URL from the website in the screen capture.
In the research around Katerina/Katie someone reached out to a photographer who Katerina had possibly second shot with. I think the audacity of asking to be paid in advance, picked up AND borrow gear is insane. I thought I would add this in case she replies to other ISOs.
