I can’t tell you how many times I receive submissions like this one. A photographer is doing a money grab mini session and puts an ad up on Facebook showing the type of mini session they are selling. It seems that more and more often, this image is NOT one they created but one they are showing as the “style” of shoot they will be hosting and the image is by another photographer. Generally it’s a “see this adorable Christmas themed picture? I’m going to do something like this! Send me money!” Sometimes they give the original photographer credit, sometimes they do not. Either way, what they are doing is wrong because I’ve yet to find a photographer that has been okay with the use of their images in this manner AND it’s misleading to the clients because more often than not, the work they are showing is a far cry from what their skill level or style is.
Madi Grace is yet another one of these photographers.
She has a whole album of photo session ideas. Note that the top is the ONLY place where she states that these are not her original images. How often do you visit the album and read the description? Never.

The ad. Note that no where does she state these aren’t her images.
