I’m not listing the images that I suspect are stock – which is most of the images that are on the site but aren’t listed below.

I also gave up on sourcing images from Facebook around April.  There are a TON more on her Facebook page but I’ve put in 6 hours on this post so I’m waving the white flag.

  • You can’t fix stupid

Wow looking at their page there is a huge difference from those stolen and what is actually theirs.

  • Marc W.

Of course what’s left are photos with vignettes.

    • Doug W

I picked her best and left the comment “I 100% believe you took this picture”

  • Helena Handbasket

I feel fairly confident in saying that they’ve made Jesus weep. Or roll his eyes.

    • You can’t fix stupid

I am banking on “The devil made me do it”

      • Helena Handbasket

Ah yes, the old Jerry Falwell response. Good call.

  • Facebook deletions have begun …. classic.

    • Helena Handbasket

Anyone taking bets? I wanna put 100.00 on ‘the butler did it’.

      • Steve Gibson

plee for forgivness the devil made her do it

  • Doug W

She’s on damage control, FB pics gone, sad. Remaining pics won’t get her many gigs

    • Photo Stealers

Still quite a lot remaining that she didn’t take.

      • Doug W

oh, they weren’t that good, I assumed hers…my bad

Now she’s guilty of stealing so so pics?

      • Doug W

        You rock C, BTW…

  • Helena Handbasket

This is her facebook profile image, and she ‘borrowed’ it from here: http://www.iwanphotographybali.com/

  • Celine (peaceetc)

So is it by her god’s grace that she apparently stole from others and made victims out of several unsuspecting people — both the photographers and her mislead clients? Call me crazy, but it’s my understanding the whole stealing thing is a big no-no.

    • Helena

One of the commandments wasn’t it?

      • Celine (peaceetc)

        Bingo. Funny, that.

      • Aaron Lee

Yeah… that was in the Torah. Not so sure about the sequel…lol

        • Kimo

“The sequel,” properly called the Bible, also says stealing is bad.

I hope you’re not letting this person, or any of hundreds of other hypocrites, define Christians. They make a mockery of the real ones.

          • Aaron Lee

            Nah… I’m just busting chops. 🙂

          • Kimo

That’s cool. Busting chops is a time honored tradition.

          • talkingsnake

Ah yes – the “real” xians.
Look up the “No True Scotsman Fallacy”.

Or, as I pilfered from somewhere else on the net (oddly appropriate): If all the xians who said ‘those others aren’t really xians’ disappeared, there wouldn’t be any xians left.

          • Kimo

My reply to this comment was that Christianity doesn’t condone stealing. I’m just saying that branding Christians in general because of those like her isn’t fair to those who strive to live by their values. The attacks on Christianity because of her are as unjustified on here as fat shaming on other posts.

          • talkingsnake

Fair enough – I read a little defensiveness into your comment I suppose.

I’m not sure about the fat shaming analogy though. Far too many xians spout their piety on social media, even using their religion to bash others (what other group is the main voice behind opposition to gay rights?). All of this in a giant wash of hypocrisy – from people like this photographer to the Catholic church’s unbelievable record of hiding pedophiles.
Hypocrisy is natural – it’s what separates humans from the rest of the animals (that and fear of vacuum cleaners). But when you very publicly shout from the rooftops about your morals, you will get (and deserve) a lot of scrutiny.

          • Kimo

My fat shaming analogy was in reference to other comments I made. I was wrong, and it was properly righted.

This photographer and the Catholic church’s leaders shouldn’t be the basis for judging all Christians. That’s my only point. Too often, we see reports trumpeting the bad side of something, and we start thinking that way about all the group. It’s not just Christians it happens to. Racism, sexism, and politics are all examples of this thinking. It’s like saying all (Democrats) (Republicans) (Libertarians)are bad because we only hear about the ones we don’t agree with or who are doing bad things.

Her use of faith and religion to market herself is wrong. Her blatant hypocrisy casts a shadow on those who don’t do these things. But to insult an entire faith based on her is just as wrong. You’re right she deserves lots of scrutiny, hopefully someone from her church will guide to the right actions, including acknowledging her mistakes and making amends to the right people.

“Vacuphobia” isn’t a laughing matter. Have you ever seen a cat or rabbit when the vacuum starts up? Or me, when I’m trying to watch TV? Startling doesn’t even begin to describe it! 🙂

        • Celine (peaceetc)

Let’s not get into a theology debate, please. There are other places for that. Thanks.

  • Michael Goolsby

The disparity between the work she has stolen to represent herself and her own actual work is like night and day. At the moment, her Facebook page looks clean, but the website is still filled to the brim with stolen photos. I hope this will be rectified soon.

Yet again, we have a situation where a young mom with a camera sought attention well beyond what her actual capabilities as a photographer warranted. Sadly, she is likely now getting the attention she has indeed earned, but only as a thief. It’s a dubious distinction made all the more so by her business name overtly referencing her belief in system that condemns theft and lying.

    • dagobarbz

It’s even more delicious that this thief is waving the banner of religion. Presumably HER religion.

You know, the one with the commandment, “THOU SHALT NOT STEAL.”

  • Steve Gibson

her work is terrible. nothing but amatuer. poor lighting techniques poor compasition. these are always bad but i find this one distasteful as she is selling the christian element and stealing lieing and decieving.

    • Celine (peaceetc)

I don’t care about the quality of her actual photography. If she wants to sell herself based on her actual work, regardless of how good it is, then that’s what she should be doing. Let potential clients judge her on her actual abilities, and if they want to hire her, that’s their choice.

But for her to do what it appears she has done, and to invoke her religion to do it, is sad. I don’t give a rat’s backside what her personal beliefs are, but she tried to hide behind them and stole from others, all in an effort to make money — that pisses me off. She wore that ‘by his grace’ thing as a cloak, yet broke of the most basic tenets of her religion.

      • Steve Gibson

agreed. my point was that once the good (ie other peoples) stuff is removed what is left is always bad. this one is one of the worst. normally they are dull boring photos but she lacks basic skills. the 2 girls from england last year fuji sponsored photographer once outed cleared their site and it was pretty much family photos left behind.

  • Doug W

Well she’s playing whack-a-mole with any attempts at contact on her page.
    comment delete, comment delete.

    • Doug W

She sent me a message saying the web site images would be gone by morning.
I told her how to fix this but all she said was “thank you”

      We’ll see what happens.

      • Love the quiet unapologetic ones

Sent from a iPhone, please excuse the brevity and typos.

      • Doug W

        Still has stolen images…
        8:45 am

    • Steve Gibson

imagine how excited she got with the facebook traffic increased. then she saw why oh dear mega fail

  • Steve Gibson

facebooks gone to me possibly blocked maybe removed

  • MPR1776

Website says….”Award Winning Photography”….wonder if that is other people have won awards for this photography or View bug?

    • Doug W

I’d kind of like to see second place

  • Doug W

    Site is now “temporarily down”

    • Marc W.

The title of the temporarily down website is “This Vistaprint site is frozen”. I guess the photographers who were stolen from contacted the hosting company.

  • Terry Firma
  • Kimo

Her using religion and God as a marketing tool for her stuff is bad enough, but to add stealing and hiding it under her religious banner is… just “Wow.”

Unfortunately, too many people let people like this define Christians and Christianity for them. Hypocrisy by ANYONE is wrong, whether religious or not. I hope God will guide her to a sincere apology, honest and fair restitution, and true repentance. It’s not likely, as she appears to be a Christian in name only, and that only because of her location.

    • Mick

Really? She was never a true Christian? You’re going to go with that?

      • Kimo

By “You’re going to go with that?” I take it to mean you think I’m defending her because she claims Christianity.

I don’t defend her, her actions, or her self stated Christianity. I don’t even know her. See my reply above about my meaning.

    • Celine (peaceetc)

Please, no theology debates. Whether she’s a real Christian, etc… this isn’t the forum for that. Thanks.

      • Kimo

My comment wasn’t on theology or debate. It’s a response to those who lump all Christians together with her. There was a link to a blog post on a site dedicated to atheism, I’m just saying not all Christians are like her.

Notice the snide comments below about “they’ve made Jesus weep. or roll his eyes.” with a picture of Jesus, “rolling his eyes.” Is this the place for that?

I do agree this is not the place for theology. You’re 100% right, but when she hides behind faith, my comment about using it as marketing tool being wrong and letting others define Christianity by this person are also right.

        • Helena Handbasket

My comment with the image, and I believe Kimo’s as well, were meant 100% ironically. Especially given the NAME of her ‘business’. Stealing is deplorable, but stealing while invoking the name of a deity? Hysterically and deliciously ironic.

  • Dennis Smith

Yes, looks like you won this one. Her site is down as others have noted.

  • raysot

There also appears to be another site called

    http://www.byhisgracephotography.com

I doubt it’s hers… I wonder if she allegedly stole the title as well, maybe to capitalize on SEO?

    Interesting…

    • Celine (peaceetc)

From what I’ve heard, there are several photography businesses with that name.

      • Way to many variations on google. Lots or Christian photographers

Sent from a iPhone, please excuse the brevity and typos.

  • Sorry that your name could be associated with the actual thief. It’s one of the nasty side effects of SEO.
PS just curious, how do you know you’re the “original” ?
