This photographer was caught when they replied to a want ad for a second shooter for a wedding with their website which is full of very recognizable work from other photographers.  Note that these images are all for sale on the website.  They also are on the slideshow at the opening of the website.

The other galleries appears to be their own work.

Update 06/28/2014 @ 3:30PM

This guy claims he had his gear stolen at a wedding and has a crowd funding site set up… whoa.

This submission was sent to me last night but since I was in the process of moving over to the new domain I wasn’t able to make an entry.  The website is still up today and the transfer is complete so here we are!

This has been a really busy week here between the posts and the big move to stopstealingphotos.com.  All of the images on the website are stock but I’m going to post it all here because the disclaimer on the about page is hilarious.  I’m not listing the proof of the stock images because quite frankly I’m a bit burned out from this week but I’ve been flooded with people about this girl so I’m listing her here since some of the Craigslist pictures are not stock.  I am thinking some of the collage images aren’t either but again, bit burned out.

Reaction Photography

Awwww it’s a thief that takes me back to my roots, well almost.  My first foray into this “field” so to speak was with a girl named Dana Dawes who stole a bunch of photos for her Groupon ad.  The news even got involved with the story and when they showed her in her studio, the stolen images were even displayed there.   This new thief came to me via the same starting point – someone saw their Amazon Ad (the image used in the ad appears to be theirs) and clicked on their website and discovered a gallery of images that are not theirs.

A photographer earlier today had his images removed but Reaction Photography aka Carmen Ridenoure took only their images down, not all of the stolen ones.  Of course a new “assistant” was blamed.  Interesting that the images that are not Reaction’s original works are the ones featured in ads and the first ones in the slideshows online.

PS:  Let this be a lesson to future brides, this company won “The Best of The Knot” award for 2013 AND 2014.  That award doesn’t mean much.  Continue reading Reaction Photography

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography

Thief:  Los Angeles Boudoir Photography
Link:  http://www.losangelesboudoirphotography.com/

This thief was sent to me today by a photographer that I greatly admire because he had stolen her work.  Apparently he is using the images on his site, as well as in a marketing email to brides in the LA Area.

The image on his Boudoir Photography page.

It is in fact stolen from iSnap Studio.

Another image from his website.

This image is apparently a stock image as it is virtually everywhere and I am unable to source the original photographer.

The slideshow on his main page is rife with stolen images.

This image was taken by Fidelio Photography.

Another image from the slideshow.

The stolen images on Cheatwood Photo’s blog.

Another image in the slideshow.

The original photo is a cropped version of Raw Photo Design’s original image

Many more of the photos in the slideshow are stolen I suspect (or all of them) but they either have way too many sources to even begin to guess or I can’t find the original source.
