  • peaceetc

She was just using them for inspiration/advertising/examples of what she could do if she had actually done it! In a business context where she is making money! By using others’ images without permission! Which is illegal because it’s copyright infringement!

Sorry, I seem to have talked myself out of that excuse. What’s next?

    • Amber Kost

It looks like she replaced the photos in the back to school ad with her own kids? Or did I miss something?

      • peaceetc

No idea, as I haven’t really looked. I hope so.

      • Photo Stealers

She did, that was a screen cap from when I was on vacation.

        • Amber Kost

Good, that’s a step in the right direction

  • V323

Stealing & re-watermarking the baby images just annoys the fuck out of me.

    • peaceetc

      It’s creepy as all hell.

    • Yeah and I don’t think my client will be too happy about it either. Apparently I need to go back to big, ugly watermarks on my photos. :/

      • V323

Have you contacted her Bree? Just completely unethical & illegal.

        • I just commented on the image (the one I found – I couldn’t find the B&W one).

          • Photo Stealers

She’s deleting pretty quickly, I noticed the collage with 3 of Meg Fish’s images earlier is gone as well after Meg commented.

          • Yes, mine is gone now, too.

          • Photo Stealers
          • OMG she ruined my photo!!! Why did she filter it?!

          • peaceetc

Don’t you know filters make everything better? And since she altered it, it totally makes it her work.

That’s about as close to figuring out what someone like her must be thinking when they do that, because frankly, I just don’t get it. I hope you are able to get all the instances of your photo removed from her various pages.

          • Piemonade

OH no!!! She has no taste!

          • Photo Stealers
          • V323

I think she deleted it already, but here’s the screenshot.

          • peaceetc

Well, sure, just slap a big ol’ watermark right across that photo. Don’t want anybody to steal what she’s already stolen. That would just be wrong.

          • V323

I used a LOT of restraint in that comment. I’m toying with posting the screenshot on her page, so there’s perm proof she tried to pass this off as her own.

          • Hah! That was what I just posted.

          • Must be gone now. I love how she removed my watermark and adds her own – apparently they’re important to her. Some people. Thanks for posting on that one… I was having a hard time finding it.

          • Marc W.

” I love how she removed my watermark and adds her own…”

You must be new here. 🙂 That’s very common. haha

          • V323

It serves to show her intent of theft. She can’t claim “inspiration”
giving how she titled picture, made comments on it & put HER mark on it.

          • Helena

Usually the most prolific thieves have the biggest watermarks.

      • Photo Stealers

Make sure to hit up her instagram, your image is there as well a few times.

        • I’ll have to have my daughter help with that one. I don’t use or understand instagram.

      • Piemonade

Totally dumb. I follow you, and so do a whole lot of other photographers. How does she think she can get away with it? Ugh!

      • Please tell me you are suing her. I’m sure you could use some new camera gear.

      • Noooooooooooooooooooooooo to big ugly watermarks.

  • Piemonade

These can’t be hers… the skin tone is good. The proportions are all off on the collage though. https://www.facebook.com/LadyPhotography/photos/pb.114338545330474.-2207520000.1406662448./504895022941489/?type=3&theater

    • Photo Stealers

      already gone

    • Piemonade

Hahaha…. she deleted the second I posted it here! It is still on her cover photo though, with this comment: “You deleted the collage of the twins in the bottom left horizontal window after I asked if you took them. I’m guessing the answer is YES… you DID take them, right off of a real photographer’s site! Yikes! I see you are cleaning up your page. Just don’t want you to miss anything. “

      • Photo Stealers

        Cover images are gone.

  • Piemonade

I guess anything that has halfway decent skin tones does NOT belong to her. Maybe I should keep posting here, so she knows what to delete. Lady, (see what I did there!) I’m sure it’s hard to keep track of which photos you created vs which ones you’ve stolen. I’m happy to help!

  • V323

Bree, as a photographer who has had their images stolen, do you think those of us not directly involved should shut our mouths & stay out of it? We don’t always have the victim involved in discussions, I’m curious how you feel about random support.

    • I feel the person who had their work stolen should contact the thief first. If they do not fix their “mistake” aka theft then they leave themselves open to the mob.

      • V323

Reasonable! So, have you had a contact or apology yet? For me, her just deleting it all is hardly addressing the issue.

  • Piemonade

Should I screen cap some more on the FB page? I’m recovering from surgery and my kids are at grandma’s. I have all day to sit in front of my computer and have no life. 😉

    • V323

      She’s deleting all the comments.

      • Piemonade

Weird, deleted my comment but I’m not banned.

    • Lindsay11

doitdoitdoitdoit cause I got here late 😉

    • Lindsay11

PS I hope you are alright! This is a good thing to do for distraction while recovering I would think.

      • Piemonade

        It is, it is!

    • Photo Stealers

Hope you are OK and are recovering well!

      • Piemonade

I am! Just dying of boredom! LOL. Thanks. 🙂

    • Sure do it !

      • Piemonade

Basically anything that is a decent collage. She started deleting apparently… so she is reading here at least! I’ll just start from the middle and try to get ahead of her… hehehe!

    • Helena

      Hope you’re recovering well. 🙂

    • BullShite

I hope you feel better soon!

    • Just a Girl

      Speedy recovery to you!!!!!

  • Lindsay11

She’s a plagiarist! (attached) (I ran the about on her fb through here)

    • Lindsay11

Her website is the same thing, also attached.

  • Lindsay11

Seems she has her finger hovering over the delete key, so grab all the screenshots you can. Almost everything I try to look at is gone already.

This is one of those delete and hope it all goes away stealers, isn’t she? Has she commented about this anywhere?

    • Yep … You got that right … A delete and hope type deal..

    • peaceetc

It sure seems that way. I wonder how long she’ll last before she just takes down the page to try to wait it out. That won’t work, either, of course, but I bet she’ll try.

    • Wes Jones

Yep. My comment lasted about 10 seconds.

  • Marc W.
    • peaceetc

Yep, it sure seems to be. A quick glance seems to be her own work… that’s just based on quality, as I didn’t source any of them.

  • Lindsay11

I wonder why she hasn’t deleted the stuff off her website? I see several stolen images there. Also, why does her website look exactly like this one? http://ohbabylovephotography.com/

    • peaceetc

I don’t think she gets why this is a big deal yet. So far she seems to just be deleting as necessary, instead of just taking down all the stolen work.

As for the web sites, I’d say they use the same template.

      • captain-confuzzled

yep WordPress template – here http://www.thatskindacool.com/amanda/

        • Lindsay11

Ohhh so it’s the photos that came with the template but both of those “photographers” “forgot” to remove them?

  • Wes Jones

Her Vimeo account seems to have been deleted as well.

    • Photo Stealers

She had images in the slideshows that were stolen but those were taken out when she first got caught earlier in the month.

      • Marc W.

So she didn’t remove all the stolen images? Shocked.

  • Lady

To all the photographers and parents affected, I apologize for your images without proper attribution on some of my latest posts. I am not only a photographer but also a mother and can totally understand your frustration; I was using them as an inspiration but now I know I shouldn’t . I have removed all of your photos from my pages and it won’t be an issue again.

I will contact each Photographer with my apologies.

Thank you for your understanding. Have a great day.

    Lady Sutachan

    • Piemonade

Inspiration? With their logo removed, and yours on?

Inspiration, when you copy word for word another photographer’s website?

Shame on you, Lady! That is an old excuse. I *know* you know how wrong this is,. Stop trying to downplay the seriousness of stealing images and original words!

      • Lady

Piemonade I know I did wrong, I removed all this images.

        Thank you

        • Piemonade

Not yet. Keep clicking that delete option.

        • Here is what can happen to you now EVEN IF YOU DO REMOVE THE IMAGES!

Copyright violation: up to 150,000$ PER IMAGE.
Wateermark removal / DMCA Violation: up to 25,000$ PER WATERMARK REMOVED.

          Just do the math.

    • Lindsay11

But all the photos you stole aren’t removed so…?

And as Pie says, don’t lie, please. We deal with stealers like you all the time and we’ve heard all the excuses. Go remove every single photo you didn’t personally take and apologize to your friends, your family and your clients and then, and this is the important part, don’t do it again!

Also hope that none of the photographers decide to sue you.

      • Piemonade

Oh, I actually hope they DO sue. 🙂

        • Lindsay11

Oh I do too! But she should hope they don’t! LOL

    • Wes Jones

Before you say anymore, you might want to read this:

      http://www.photoattorney.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Excuses-excuses.pdf

    • peaceetc

I’m sorry, but no. You slapped your watermark right across those photos you stole. That’s not inspiration, that is stealing. You gave absolutely no indication those photos were not yours, gave people every reason to think they were yours, and you courted clients using those stolen images.

That is not “inspiration.” I hate that word now, since so many people use that as excuse. It’s pure crap. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, but it’s absolutely true.

Regardless, it’s still copyright infringement, which is illegal. You can be sued for thousands of dollars. Even if you had given credit, it’s not enough. You have to have permission *before* you use others’ images.

Why is that so hard for people to understand? Doesn’t anyone care about copyright anymore? As a photographer, you should care. And you should also care about the rights of those photographers from whom you stole, and don’t be surprised if they have their lawyers contact you.

      • peaceetc

Not to mention, of course, how you used others’ photos for advertising purposes. How does that fit into the whole “inspiration” thing? Honestly, I am curious to understand.

    • V323

Here’s where your ‘apology’ fall flat: claiming inspiration WHEN YOU WATERMARKED ANOTHER’S IMAGE is simply a lie. YOu stole the images, passed them off to your public as your own. THAT is what you should be apologizing for.

    • Lindsay11

Please remove the “about me” on all your pages as they are plagiarized and you didn’t write it. Words matter too! If you think they don’t you should read up on Doug Gordon. http://stopstealingphotos.com/doug-gordon-lindenhurst-ny-part/

      • peaceetc

        Excellent point, Lindsay.

    • Piemonade

You understand that it is FRAUD on top of image theft to advertise this:

      • Piemonade

When you are only capable of THIS:

        • Piemonade

What do your clients think when they get their images back? Are they blinded by Mommy-goggles, or too nice to accuse you of advertising something you can’t deliver?

          • Piemonade

OR MAYBE YOU DO “DELIVER” STOLEN IMAGES! Wow, “lady”! That’s ballsy!!!

    • Marc W.

“I was using them as an inspiration”

BS. As soon as you put your own watermark, you’re way past “inspiration”.

    • Lindsay11

I see your site is down completely, good deal. Now clean up everything else.

    • Thank for taking the time to clear this up and coming clean about it. Think of it as a bump and move on to better things.
      Trying to think positive

      • Lady

Thank you Joseph, I definitely will. I do recognize I did wrong, like you said I am trying to correct it and move on

        • peaceetc

Lady, would you please address the collage issue posted a bit higher up on the comments? It seems you mixed stolen images in with your own work and presented them as all being of the same baby. Were those stolen images also given to the client? I think it should be properly addressed.

          • Lady

Peaceetc, I wish I can go back and undo this, but I can’t, I already accepted my big mistake, erased all other photographer’s pictures from my pages and also contacted each one of them with my apologies.
I have never sell photos that are not mine, that is totally different.

Also, Lindsay11 my website is a paid Template.

I really hope all of you could understand that this was a mistake.
This is the last message I am leaving.

            Thank you

          • Lindsay11

You haven’t removed all the stolen photos and you haven’t addressed the fact that you presented stolen photos mixed in with newborn photos to a CLIENT. You also failed to remove all your plagiarism. So… now what? Do you want to fix this or not?

BTW which photographers did you contact? I don’t believe you found every photographer and contacted them already.

    • doncalifornia

“without proper attribution” is not the problem. You are not allowed to use other photographers’ images without their permission, whether or not you properly attribute the photo to them. Putting your watermark on photographs you didn’t take is stealing, and fraud. “Attribution” is the least of your worries.

And to say you were using them for inspiration is laughable. If they have your watermark on them, you were trying to pretend they were yours. There is no way around this. You really really really need to come clean with this, like, “yes, you caught me lying and falsely advertising. I am really sorry.” Not like, “oh, sorry to the people I affected and I’ve deleted all those photos (when you really haven’t) and I am getting hold of each of the photographers (when you really aren’t)”.

You really should read up on the history of other photo stealers, and you should do two things: 1. accept that you’ve been caught. 2. repent. That’s kind of it. Stop lying.

    • ” I apologize for your images without proper attribution on some of my latest posts.”
FFS! Attribution doesn’t change the fact that you need EXPLICIT PERMISSION FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER!

    • You can’t fix stupid

How about a public apology for stealing. There is a HUGE difference between stealing and not giving “proper attribution” Lady Sutachan Photography – you have stolen images and stolen words. Do the right thing now and make a public apology on your FB page.

      • Marc W.

And were not the ones you new to apologize to. It to your clients and potential clients in Facebook!

    • Helena

I think an apology to the parents who were tagged in photos that contained pictures of babies who weren’t theirs is necessary. Did you deliver those photos to your client as well?

    • doncalifornia

Wait, one more thing: “To all the photographers and parents affected,…” Huh? How about: “To everyone (my family and friends and everyone else I have attempted to fool…”

    • U Really That Dumb?

Please see an attorney immediately! Make sure they are experts on: fraud, theft, copyright, plagiarism, postal fraud, and tax law.
Then find a way to pay the hundreds of thousands of dollars you owe all of the people you stole from. Don’t forget to start paying back all of the clients you took money from.
All of these steps will help your case with the AG’s office and DOJ.

      • U Really That Dumb?

PS: hope your kids are smart and hard workers so they get college scholarships because their mom will either be broke, or in jail.

        • U Really That Dumb?

All of this sound harsh? Like it’s the extremes?
YES! AND totally within the realm of possibilities of what your life will be like starting as early as tomorrow! Understand that Florida has some of the strictest fraud laws in the country! You knowingly stole, lied, and committed fraudulent acts!

    • “Thank you for your understanding. Have a great day.”

If it was me you had stolen from, I wouldn’t understand. You’d have already been contacted by my lawyer and my clients lawyers.

  • Piemonade

    OH EMM GEE…

So, did you deliver someone else’s images to your client???? Looks like two images you stole were matched up with two you didn’t in a collage. They aren’t the same color or quality. Did you include them in the CD? Do they know it isn’t their baby’s hand and wrinkled side?

    WOWWWWW….

    • If that’s is true then that is a new fucking low….

      • Piemonade

It actually made me feel nauseated. Look at the two collages below. The stolen one is good, hers… sot so much. So she just stitched them together. I just can’t believe what a disgusting move that is!

    • peaceetc

Please tell me she didn’t give stolen images to clients. Lady Sutachan, if you’re reading this, please explain this. Seriously, this needs to be addressed. This goes way, way beyond “inspiration.” If nothing else, your collage has grouped your work in with stolen images, and are pretending to be of the same child. How is that okay?

      • Helena

Eurgh. That is gross if it has happened. Imagine being a parent discovering your child’s picture displayed on someone else’s wall. Vile!

        • Marc W.

She seems to be tag the parents in the FB post, so it would be easy to verify.

          • Helena

I don’t think I really want to know!

          • Marc W.

True, but these thieves need to get a real shaming.

      • Piemonade

So nauseated. No words! I’m done for the day before I lose my hard-earned lunch!!!

        • peaceetc

You take care of yourself, Pie. Recovering from surgery isn’t any fun, so don’t lose that lunch on top of things. 🙂

        • Lindsay11

I hope you get some rest, you did a lot of investagoogling today, you’ve earned it!

      • Piemonade

Well, she’s erased the original stolen work AND the stolen work mixed in with the sub-par stuff that she created. SHE TAGGED HER CLIENTS in it (you can see the screen shot) so I’m pretty sure she gave them every impression that it was entirely their son. The question is, did she give them the images on CD too? I wonder if they’ve gotten them printed somewhere, thinking they are ALL detail images of their little guy. That’s messed up.

        MESSED. UP.

        • Piemonade

In Lady’s world, you delete it and it didn’t happen. I have the screen shots though… the internet never forgets!

        • peaceetc

Huh. I’m really confused. Lady Satachan had a chance to come clean here, and she has apparently chosen not to do it. Her explanation of using others’ images as “inspiration” isn’t enough. There is a lot more to explain.

          • Lindsay11

She still has stolen images and stolen “biography” up as well. So she is doing the bare minimum and saying whatever she can think of to make it go away.

        • Helena

          It’s just too horrible. 🙁

    • Lindsay11

This is horrifying. I’m trying to think this through here. If I were the parents, I’m not sure I would want to know that this “mom who totally understands your frustration” would do this to me. I’d almost rather not know she slipped in stolen photographs and tried to pretend it was my newborn child…

Ugh, I am so with you. This is stomach churning.

      • doncalifornia

If I was the baby’s parents, I would want to know. No doubt. I would want to know I was fooled, and I would want to know which images were my child, and which were stolen. I would want to know so I could demand all my money back, and then sue her if she hesitated for even a moment about a full refund and an apology.

        • BullShite

Did someone inform the parents? I would be interesting in knowing what they would say…. and I can’t even imagine how angry I would be to hear that parts of my baby’s photos were some other kid. Insane.

    • BullShite

Man, so not only can the REAL photographer sue, but the parents can as well! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

    • I am tempted to contact the tagged parents.

  • Lindsay11

Hey Lady, take a moment and I’ll tell you the story of Aaron Haskin of A and K Photography. Once upon a time there was a man named Aaron Haskin. He ran A and K Photography with his wife Kari Haskin. He got caught stealing photos a year ago. And then he did it again.

At first he claimed it wasn’t a big deal. He deleted photos as fast as they were posted. (This might sound familiar!) He threatened, whined, prevaricated and deflected. He lied about ridiculously easy to prove things. Unfortunately for him, every time he made excuses or threatened someone we were motivated to look a little harder at him. Then we found his mugshot from one of his arrests.

You see, if he had just done the right thing, none of that would have come to light. Now when you search for Aaron Haskin this site is one of the top searches (I wonder how long until this site is a top search for Lady Sutachan Photography?). Please take this as a cautionary tale and do the right thing NOW. Remove every photo you didn’t take. Remove your “biography” you didn’t write. For the love of Glob, do not give stolen photos to parents wanting newborn photos! Then apologize to everyone. Then do not do it again.

  • I have a prediction …there will never be a public apology … and I don’t even think she contacted those she stole from..

  • EBPhoto

She did steal one of my photos, the little baby with the football, she did send me an apology but only after being called out on this site. I contacted her a few days ago when it was first found that she had stolen images and told her to remove the image immediately, which she did. She only apologized to me today. This was the apology…

    Hi Erica,
In the past year I used one of your images (baby with football) to promote a mini session, I wanted to use it as an inspiration since I thought this was a beautiful idea for father’s day. I want you to know that I really apologize for your using your image without proper attribution on my page. I have removed this from my page and it won’t be an issue again.
I am so sorry, now I understand I did wrong.
Thank you for your understanding. Have a great day.

    Lady Sutachan

    • Well ok at least she followed thru .. Too bad it took PS to force to do it.

    • BullShite

I love how she automatically assumes and thanks you for “understanding”. That is a typical, passive aggressive way to set you up to not decide for yourself. I wish these people can just come clean and say SPECIFICALLY, what they have done. EVERY APOLOGY contains an “excuse” that is a lie. Drives me crazy.

Hey Lady, you can use this free of charge. It makes more sense than what you wrote, and is more honest. I give you full permission:

I made the really bad and wrong choice to take photos that were not mine. I did this consciously, knowing it was not right. It was not right but I still did it. I even removed watermarks. Then I got caught. Getting caught, publicly, is both humiliating and embarrassing, I’m going what is right, because getting caught was karmic justice for doing something I should not have. Coming clean to EVERYONE is penance. Coming clean to everyone is a way of ensuring that history will state that in the end, I attempted to make up for what I did, in the hopes that my kids, my family, my friends…. they will not see this ten years from now and wonder why I lacked integrity at this moment. I hope that you will accept my sincere apology for taking what was not mine. I will not be repeating this mistake.

      Again I am sorry.

      • EBPhoto

        Love this response!

    • Ric New

At least she didn’t use the word “mistake”, I hate when crooks claim they made a mistake after being caught.

    • V323

When the faux-pology doesn’t address WATERMARKING someone’s else’s work, well hell, I don’t believe a word you type, Lady.

    • I hope you understand that you could sue her for copyright infringement up to 150000$ if you registered the image with the copyright office and if she removed your watermark you could get another 2500$ to 25000$ for her violation of the DMCA’s provisions on circumventing rights management information.

Ooh good I can sit down tonight and write a nice review for her.

  • peaceetc

I was offline most of the evening, so I’m trying to catch up, so I have a few questions. I apologize for not doing more legwork myself, but I’m not feeling too great at the moment, so I can’t go a-searchin’ at the moment.

    1. Why did she have two separate Facebook pages for the same business? I see one of them is offline, but the other is still up. The one still up isn’t new, so I don’t get it.

    2. Are all the stolen images down from her various pages?

    3. Has she acknowledged any of this publicly? I see she sent at least one email, but seems to have failed to really grasp what she did wrong. She’s still stuck on the whole not giving credit thing, instead of understanding she shouldn’t have used the images at all.

    4. When are people going to get they can’t use others’ images without permission, regardless of intent (or whether they give credit)? Why is that such a complicated concept?

    • peaceetc

Because it’s healthy to talk to oneself… I realize the two Facebook pages are, in fact, the same page, but the URL changed. I’m guessing she did that to try to avoid this stuff. It didn’t work.

She’ll probably make excuses like she’s been hacked or something else to get the simpathy.

          • 2 to 1 bets say she will claim hacking … Then again she reads this page so that excuse won’t be used :p

          • Marc W.

Bet she’ll still use the excuse because her friends and family probably doesn’t read this page…. yet?

          • U Really That Dumb?

Absolutely! Play the victim card and hope that everyone around her ‘takes her side because she’s been attacked, a really nice person, and would never do anything like this! • Justin Case

There is still a HUGE difference between what is on her website and what is on her current facebook account(s). It could actually be that her skills have gotten considerably better since she last edited her website, but I’m skeptical considering her lack of honesty thus far.

    • U Really That Dumb?

Wait! You’re saying she wasn’t honest? OMG, I’m shocked! Shocked I tell you!

    • Lindsay11

I still see at least one photo that she didn’t take on her facebook. I’m not going to post it just yet, let’s see if she fixes it today. She should be checking her internet stuffs soon I should think.

  • Photo Stealers

Updated the post with the current Facebook URL and some stills from her birth photography promo video which are stolen.

  • JO

She did apologized to me and removed the image. I am not here to make her miserable. We All Make Mistakes. It’s Our Choice Whether To Learn From Them Or Not.
This is a lesson that she will always get caught so hopefully in the
future she will only use her own.

    • U Really That Dumb?

I’m glad she actually reached out.
The very sad part about it is, while she’s apologizing to you, she’s still actively stealing from others. She is only apologizing to people who’s pictures have been listed as stolen. We know for a fact that there are other stolen images, but are not telling her which ones we know about so we can see if she actually pulls them down.

      • Photo Stealers

This comment is from Lady, so… I guess she could reach out. To herself.

        • U Really That Dumb?

LOL, I JUST saw that too!

    • Photo Stealers

FYI this comment is from Lady, not from a photographer she stole from.

      • Marc W.

        That makes no sense!

Edit: nvm, I read her post wrong. Wth

      • V323

I missed the morning. Awesomeness. Every action she takes further proves her intent to steal. No ‘mistakes’ here, she’s just trying (albeit poorly) to cover her tracks from willful, unethical, illegal actions.

    • U Really That Dumb?

      Lady,
I’m guessing you didn’t read my post to you below? CALL YOUR ATTORNEY! This will only end badly for you if you continue!

    • Are you SERIOUS?
Do you think you are the first thief/fraud/liar/hack to try the fake account route.

    • BullShite

      • Helena

9/10 for originality, and 10/10 for stupidity.

    • Helena

Lady, are you kidding me? Another person who has no idea about IP logging. I would suggest removal of your head from your butt at this point. Take everything down you didn’t write or press the shutter on, and pray to the flying spaghetti monster you don’t get sued. If I was one of the artists you stole from and saw this, I would be livid.

    • Lindsay11

LOL! Oh jeez, lady. You removed most of your web presence (or tried to hide it). You had apologized and even though we knew you were lying at least you tried. Then an actual photographer that you stole from came here and gave you credit for apologizing to her. It was starting to look almost hopeful for you!

Then what do you do? Make up a fake photographer sock puppet and your image goes crashing back down into the toilet. You must like it there!

Protip: mods can see who you are. Shocking, I know. Flagging comments with factual information and making fake photographers is almost as low as stealing words and images. Lady Sutachan Photography does all these things!

    • peaceetc

Hi, Jo, who is totally not Lady Sutachan just because you Share the Same IP Address! I believe you and your Creative Use of Capitalization. We are all Wrong To Get Annoyed with a Photo Stealer who Won’t Take Down all the Stolen Images. I don’t know what we were Thinking.

Lady S., all you are doing is digging a bigger hole for yourself. You had the chance yesterday to come clean, to fix things, and people probably would have left you alone. You are not a special snowflake (wait, I should have capitalized that), and you aren’t fooling anyone. It’s pretty pathetic you even tried.

      • Wes Jones

Creative Use of Capitalization made me DiZzY.

  • U Really That Dumb?

I WISH WISH WISH people would realize that “Flagging” the posts that contain corrected links and information the thief doesn’t want out there, does no good, right? Those go to the mods and they determine the validity of the complaint.

I am not sure it is her “photography studio”. I believe that is the ballet studio and she doesn’t own it. I am not sure about that, but I don’t think it’s hers.

      • captain-confuzzled

I agree, it doesn’t look like it is hers, but she apparently regularly does photo shoots there and if she is claiming to clean up, this would be an obvious place to clean. I’m guessing she thought she could take down the other pages and leave this one up since most people probably book from here. cheeky, if you ask me.

        • Marc W.

As a business owner, I would have wanted to know if one of my vendors was being dishonest.

    • peaceetc

It’s really interesting she thinks we won’t figure that out.

      • Well she took all the images off so I guess she reading the posts … 🙂

  • peaceetc

Lady Sutachan, I think you don’t quite get what’s going on here. I am not going to pull punches, and will say it exactly as I see it. It might sound harsh, but that’s okay… I mean it to be. I think you need harsh, because others had already tried getting you to take down stolen content before Photo Stealers outed you, and that didn’t work. Even getting outed by Photo Stealers didn’t work, because you still aren’t getting it.

You stole images and used them without permission. That’s illegal, and you can be sued for thousands of dollars. You had the opportunity to take down all of the stolen content and to nip this in the bud before it grew into something larger. You took down part of the content, but not all of it (though it may all be down now… I’m not sure). I don’t get that… did you lose track of what you stole? Did you forget the videos? Is it really that hard to remember what is yours and what isn’t?

You said you were using those images as “inspiration,” but that is clearly a lie. You don’t put your watermark on others’ images, put them up on your photography business page, and say there were just inspiration. You wanted people to think those images were yours. You mislead clients and potential clients by letting them believe you shot images you did not. You even mixed them up with photos you did take to make them look like they were of the same baby. That’s not inspiration, that’s just wrong. On so many levels.

Don’t forget your stolen words. That bio of yours was taken from somewhere else. Words count just as much as photos.

You are changing the URLs of your social media sites. Obviously, that isn’t working since people here keep finding the new addresses. So you’ve tried to flag those comments, which is pointless. We’re not going to support your attempts to block accurate and publicly available information about you, especially when it contains stolen content.

Then today you came on here pretending to be one of the photographers from whom you stole, telling us how this non-existent person forgives you. That is pathetic. You are far from the first person to try this, and it has never worked. It wasn’t even a good attempt at it, since you used the same IP address as when you commented as yourself.

So, all in all, I have no sympathy for you. None. Your attempts as hiding this and pretending it hasn’t happened will not work. Google never forgets, and this will remain clearly visible for all to see. You could have prevented this from ever happening. You could have stopped it after it came out. You could have done a lot of things, but you chose this. This is all on you.

    • peaceetc

One thing I forgot (and I seem to be on a roll of replying to myself lately)…

The photos you stole and put on your page are of real people. They are of people’s children, their babies, people’s loved ones, intimate photos, etc. The photographers who took them aren’t the only victims, because you appropriated others’ faces, their bodies, the little babies… they didn’t choose to have you slap your watermark across them and put them wherever you felt like putting them. They didn’t deserve to have you do what you did.

How about you start thinking about that — about the people you hurt — instead of changing URLs, instead of faking profiles to comment here, instead of continuing to lie. For goodness sake, Lady S., think about the babies in those photos. Precious, innocent babies, and you stole their images. For what? Was it worth it?

  • Twitter .. not much there
    https://twitter.com/LadySutachan

  • Michael Goolsby

Words that I am absolutely sick of hearing fauxtographers use:

    Inspiration
“I only intended to use the photos on my website as inspiration”

    Passion
“I have a passion for photography that comes through in every photo [that I steal]”

    Mistake
“It was a mistake to steal someone else’s hard-achieved work, erase their watermark, past my own on top, post it on my Facebook and Wix pages, and pass it off as my own in order to lure potential clients who otherwise not hire me.”

    Hacked
“My website was recently hacked and all of my photographs were replaced with stolen work without my knowledge.”

    Assistant
“Everything is my assistant’s fault. They have been let go.”

    Attorney
“Everything that has been said about me is a lie, and my attorney is in the process of contacting and suing everyone who has ever said anything bad about me on the internet.”

    Mom
“I’m just a mom with a camera who took a few pictures of my toddler, received praise from people who didn’t know any differently, and got an itch in my pants one day to suddently, and without any real knowledge, skill, work or education, become a top flight professional photographer by stealing photographs I did not take as publically claim them as my own. But we all have to start somewhere.”

    Jesus
“I have personally apologized to each and every photographer who’s photos were involved in this misunderstanding. But I know that there will always be those who have nothing but bitterness in their hearts and who insist on being haters. But I forgive you all, because Jesus is in my heart, and I will pray to Him for all of the lost souls on Photostealers.”

    Jesus Fucking Christ
“Jesus Fucking Chris, where did all these stupid jackasses come from?”
(Ok, that last one is mine, not the fauxtographers!)

Hah! I thought you were welcoming back “Michelle” and I got all excited because Lady never seems to want to post when I am home. 🙁

    • Helena

I always enjoy your posts. 🙂

    • You can’t fix stupid

Oh that is the funniest post to start my day. Brilliant!

    • peaceetc

Can we make this a sticky on every single Photo Stealers post for the rest of ever, pretty please?

  • Lindsay11

Hi Lady Sutachan or whatever you go by nowadays! Did you forget about us? We didn’t forget about you. In fact this comment you made where you pretended to be a photographer you stole from is making me more angry the more I think about it. http://stopstealingphotos.com/lady-sutachan-photography-miami-fl/#comment-1512163051

    This is why:
I wrote to a photographer who is actually talented that you actually stole from. I didn’t trust you when you said you had apologized to the photographers you stole from because let’s face it, you are a proven liar. I asked this photographer if she had been contacted by you and if she felt like updating us she could, or I could pass on anything she wanted us to know, or she could ignore us entirely if she didn’t want to deal with your crap any longer.

This talented photographer you stole from actually took the time out of her busy life and confirmed FOR YOU that she had actually been contacted. That was good for you! With me so far?

So then what did you do? You basically slapped this photographer you stole from in the face by pretending to be someone else stolen from. It’s disgusting behavior and no one deserves that from you.

It’s almost as bad as passing off stolen photos of a tiny baby to new parents and telling them it’s their child. Disgusting.

    • Lindsay11

I posted that less than 5 minutes ago and you’ve already flagged it? Wouldn’t you rather be doing fun things on your Saturday afternoon with your kids rather than worrying about this page? I’m going to go out to lunch with my family and go to the park and I can’t wait! I’m not going to be worrying about you or any other stealers.

PS Keep on flagging but bet your sweet bippy nothing here is getting removed.

    • Justin Case

You know, I know this analogy gets used around here a lot, but what our Lady did really IS quite like stealing a car. In this case, however, she didn’t even bother to notice that there were someone else’s kids in the back seat, including a newborn.

She then drove it to the mall, showed all her friends (“oh, I LOVE it, it’s so beautiful and you’re so talented. You are so blessed”).

At the end of the day she drives the car back. She figures the kids are still asleep and the owner’s never know, so no harm, no foul.

Then a nosy/helpful neighbor points out that they saw the car down at the mall this afternoon. Owner thinks, that’s strange I was busy in the garage, let me check: sure enough, the mileage has gone up and the gas tank is half full.

The neighbor decides to warn the rest of the neighborhood. Soon enough, someone else catches Lady behind the wheel of a car that she doesn’t own. Her response: “Oh, sorry, I didn’t know that I couldn’t take your car. Thanks for your understanding. Have a GREAT day.”

      Sound familiar, Lady?

(Oh, and for all you completists, I left out the part where she takes said ride to the detailers to have her ‘watermark’ painted on the hood in a nice, tasteful cursive script)

      • Lindsay11

I really like the way you wrote this analogy out. I would be very upset if I saw my car had “Ladyy” painted across the hood!

      • peaceetc

You do have a way with words, Justin. Nicely written.

    • peaceetc

I didn’t expect her to stoop that far. I really need to stop being so naive, but dang it, I still expect people to act like decent human beings. Silly me.

That’s pretty damned low, Lady S. Grow up.

  • We all know what this means…

    • Lindsay11

She’s renamed her instagram (I’m guessing) again, it’s not coming up. All her twitter posts are removed. Her facebook is down to just profile photos and none of those are stolen. (And evidently she can’t change her name for awhile? I had no idea there was a limit, good rule!) https://www.facebook.com/ladyFsuta/photos

So I guess she’s just hiding and waiting. I say this is a 1 AND 3 situation.

ETA sorry, there’s still at least one photo on her instagram section of her facebook that she did not take.

      • JulyCo

ladysphotography this is her new instagram… i so hate her right now! What a fraud!

        • Marc W.

You (or your sister) should contact a lawyer.

  • FYI, whilst catching up on things, I notice every one of the links above is down and out! Well done all.
PS it’s a shame though, she was cute. At least she had that going for her. 😉

  • You can’t fix stupid

Did she ever apologize? because she is back in full swing. Can’t see any stolen images though but she is pretending like it is business as usual

  • JulyCo

What a shame, my sister is one of her clients, she is still working because we found her on Instragram, her new name is ladysphotography and her facebook https://www.facebook.com/LadySutachanPhotography. I can’t beleive she is still working.

    • peaceetc

Thanks for sharing. I hope she at least did right by your sister. I can’t believe she’s still working, either.

      • JulyCo

Pictures were very lame ..but you base your judgement in what you see, and the ones we saw were amazing, now I know they were not hers

        • peaceetc

And that’s the problem. The people who steal others’ images like that can never measure up to the photos they took. If they could do the same quality work, they wouldn’t need to steal.

I’m sorry your sister had the misfortune to be taken in by Lady Sutachan. But we appreciate you letting us know what happened.

          • JulyCo

I’ll ask my sister if she allows me to share the pictures here.

          • keca

I’d love to see the photos if your sister has given permission.

        • You know your sister can take her to court for Fraud right?

          Florida Statute 817.44
          http://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2011/817.44

WHAT CONSTITUTES INTENTIONAL FALSE ADVERTISING.—It is unlawful to offer for sale or to issue invitations for offers for the sale of any property, real or personal, tangible or intangible, or any services, professional or otherwise, by placing or causing to be placed before the general public, by any means whatever, an advertisement describing such property or services as part of a plan or scheme with the intent not to sell such property or services so advertised, or with the intent not to sell such property or services at the price at which it was represented in the advertisement to be available for purchase by any member of the general public.

          • BullShite

It’s also documented here, so if you hired her pre-exposure on PS, you could MORE than prove fraud.

          • JulyCo

            Hmmm interesting. Thanks

      • The images on her current Facebook page are pretty lame but at least they seem like they are hers now.

    • My bad it came up when I copied and pasted it… I hope it’s clean.

  • keca

Funny how you can’t reverse search any of these images? I keep getting a message “Images cannot be smaller than than 9 x 9 pixels”. Many of these, and her other galleries, look WAY beyond her abilities?

    http://ladyrphotos.com/category/babies/#

    • Let me look

    • It seems that the images are hers. It ironic that she employes right click protection on her site… I simply by passed it.

    • Lindsay11

However, one can RIS her facebook images. https://www.facebook.com/Ladyrphoto/timeline

      • keca

I did notice that, but I couldn’t see many of the same images on her FB that are on her site. Granted, I only looked for about 5 minutes, but it seemed suspect to me.

    • Marc W.

It’s because the website is probably only you to right click on a masked 1×1 little image. This is a way to keep honest people from stealing… ironic, eh? If you have a Windows 7 or later machine, go to Start > Run > “snippingtool” and you can easily crop the image out and upload to Images.google.com. But I’m sure Lady can teach us all that.

  • Mariana

Hi all, just wondering if this person’s new website has just her work now or she is still stealing. A friend of mine told me about her and when I googled her, I saw all this. I think she found her in a mommy group that she belongs to. I feel bad telling my friend but at the same time I don’t want my friend to be disappointed. I see she is active on facebook too.
    Thank you!

    • She did clean up her act .. So if your friend likes her work then i dont see why not. She may have stolen in the past but as today what you see is all her who work. Her lesson was learned.
      I wish your friend luck

Sent from a iPhone, please excuse the brevity and typos.

      • Marc W.

        The main thing is:

“So if your friend likes ____her work____ then i dont see why not.”

  • Raizy hines

She has scammed me out of my photo session by claiming funds expired without any notice. She’s refused to honor the credit gift card I received. Scammer! 2016 – Stay away from Lady R photo.

that sucks. I am sorry that it happened to you.
